This red, white, and blue popcorn is both delicious and patriotic! It's perfect for you 4th of July BBQ, or just as a fun snack. And it's easy to throw together for large or small crowds. So basically, it's ALL good.
Here's what you'll need:
- Popped Popcorn
- Almond Bark or White Chocolate
- Red & Blue Food Coloring
- Marshmallows
- Butter
- Red, White, and Blue Sprinkles
Gather your ingredients and melt the butter and marshmallows in a pot over low heat. You can make as little or as much as you want, and have the popcorn coated slightly or completely slathered- it's totally up to you. Just use 1 tbsp of butter for each cup of marshmallows.
Cover your popcorn with the melted marshmallow goo and coat it evenly. Lay your popcorn out on a cookie sheet covered with wax paper.
Add sprinkles while your popcorn is still wet and mix it up.
Melt your almond bark or white chocolate on the stove on low heat. Separate it in half and color one half red and the other half blue. (If your mixture gets a little too clumpy you can always thin it out with a tiny bit of coconut oil.) Drizzle the red and blue melted chocolate across your popcorn and let it cool.
Once it's cool you can serve or store the popcorn. Your guests, family, and you will love it's gooey goodness!
