Easter means lots of hard boiled eggs, and lots of fun things to do with them! These colorful deviled eggs aren't only yummy, but the colors will match any Easter or spring get together you may have! Plus, they're super easy to make, and who doesn't love that?
This is what you'll need:
- 6 Hardboiled Eggs
- 6 teaspoons White Vinegar
- Food Coloring
- 1/3 Cup Mayonnaise
- 2 tsp. Mustard
- 2 tsp. Sugar
- Paprika
The very first thing you need to do is hard boil the eggs. If you're looking for a good way to do that, then check out the instructions here.
Once your eggs are cooled, peel them and cut them in half lengthwise. Remove all of the yolks and set them aside in a bowl.
In small bowls, mix about 1/2 cup water, 1 tsp. vinegar, and 1-2 drops of food coloring.
Set both halves of each egg into each separate bowl of colored water for 20-30 minutes (or until they're the color you desire) and remove the eggs. Let them dry.
To your bowl of yolks, add the mayonnaise, mustard, and sugar. Smash all the yolks while you stir, and mix everything well.
Using a piping bag or a spoon, fill the eggs with the yolk mixture.
To finish these off just sprinkle a dash of paprika on each egg and enjoy your Easter colored deviled eggs!
