Frankenstein Cookies Halloween Treat
Share
Halloween treats have never been so easy! These cute Frankenstein wafer cookies aren't only adorable, they can be whipped up in a matter of minutes. They are perfect for class parties (they use only store bought ingredients, so if your school has a "no homemade" rule these still apply). They are also lots of fun for parties at home, or just when you want to have some Halloween snacks on hand!
Here's what you'll need:
- 1 pkg. Chocolate Wafer Cookies
- 1 can Vanilla Frosting
- ½ cup Candy Corn, with chocolate ends
- Decorating Gel—black and red
- Green Food Coloring
- Black Sugar Crystals
- Edible Eyes
Tint your frosting green with food coloring and frost the top half of each cookie. It doesn't even need to be fancy or even or anything because these guys are monsters - they can't be too perfect.
Use a good amount of black sugar crystals at the very top of each cookie for hair. You'll want to do this while the frosting is still wet and sticky. Make a little scar with the red gel right below each monster's hairline, and place 2 eyes under that. Use the black gel to make a mouth. Cut the chocolate ends off each candy corn, put a dab of frosting on the cut side, and put one on each side of the cookie to resemble his bolts.
You can make as many or as few of these as you want! And once you have all the pieces stuck to the cookies you're ready to eat and enjoy!
