Orange Banana Creamsicle Smoothie Recipe

I am dreaming of hot summer days and cold delicious drinks!  And this orange banana creamsicle smoothie is perfect.  Plus, guess what?  It's super healthy.  So basically you HAVE to make it right now, and go sit in the sun!

These are the ingredients that you need:

·         3/4 cups freshly squeezed orange juice, about two oranges

·         1 banana, frozen

·         2 tablespoons raw, split cashews

·         1 tablespoon natural almond butter

·         1 tablespoon hemp hearts

·         14-15 ice cubes

·         Water if needed

Directions: 

Juice the oranges. 

Place all ingredients into a high speed blender. Blend on medium to high for two to four minutes (depending on blender) until everything is smooth. You may need to add some additional water or use a tamper to keep things moving.

Pour into a chilled glass and enjoy!

Makes two servings (roughly one cup each)

Tip: Make sure you use frozen banana as this gives the smoothie a thick, creamy, ice cream like texture!
