Simple Sugar Scrub Anyone Can Make
Share
Whipped sugar scrub is easy to make, you can customize it to any color you want, and it makes a really awesome gift! This simple sugar scrub recipe, that anyone can make, will start you on a path of creation and scrubtastic delight!
What you'll need:
¼ C Coconut oil (solid)
¾ C White sugar
1 drop of food coloring (optional)
Instructions:
Using a kitchenaid, or electric mixer, whip the coconut oil for 30 seconds. Place it in the freezer for 3 minutes. Whip the coconut oil again for 1 minute. Add the sugar and whip it for another minute. If you are using food coloring, add it now and then whip until combined.
Put the finished scrub into an air tight container to store. Little glass jars make your sugar scrub look fancy in your bathroom, and also impress the most as gifts - these things are crucial, obviously.
**tip: if your coconut oil is too liquidy, place in freezer until firm.
How to use:
Get a small amount of sugar scrub on your hand and rub into the desired area. Once you feel satisfactorily exfoliated, rinse the excess scrub off. Use it often for baby-bum-soft skin!
