The Blog — Thanksgiving

I wanted a new Thanksgiving banner for my wall this year, so I made this one.  Except that I can't decide if I like it, or if I think it's the ugliest banner ever created by mankind.  Ugly or not, it's free, so go ahead and click on the picture to download it.  Or just click here. I think I'm going to accordion fold some scrapbook paper for behind each medallion like I did with last year's banner, and maybe I'll make my mind up on liking it or not.

Every Thanksgiving, as I was growing up, we made gumdrop turkeys.  And then we ate them.  So now I have the same tradition with my kids.  Want to make your own gumdrop turkey with your own kids? I wanted to make a Thanksgiving banner and I almost made one that said "Give Thanks" but then I thought, "BORING" so I made one that says "Gobble" instead (which is only slightly less boring, but there's only so many Thanksgiving sayings out there).
