These mini turkey cheeseball crackers will be the biggest hit at your Thanksgiving dinner! They are the perfect size for appetizers, and are so much fun to look at and eat. And they taste good - which, you know, is also important.
Here's what you'll need:
- 5 oz Veggie Garden Cream Cheese
- 1 ½ Cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- Crushed Pecans
- Slivered Almonds
- Red Bell Pepper
- Sliced Cheddar Cheese
- Whole Peppercorns
- Edible Food Coloring Markers
- Your Favorite Crackers
These turkeys are quick and easy to make. First mix the cream cheese and shredded cheddar cheese in a medium size bowl.
With a cookie scoop or spoon make about a 1-inch balls. And then roll them in the crushed pecans. Place these on parchment paper to set a little.
Take the edible markers and color the slivered almonds any colors you’d like. You’ll need 4 almonds per cheeseball. Place 4 almonds towards the back of the cheeseball where the tail should go.
Cut the cheese slices into little triangles, and the red pepper into little slices. Place these on the cheeseball as the nose and wattle. Take the peppercorns and place them on the turkeys for eyes.
Store the little cheeseballs in the refrigerator until party time. Then you can take each mini cheeseball and lay it on a cracker, and watch your guests enjoy the edible cuteness!
