Zombie Graves Halloween Treat

Melissa Bastow

zombie treat

I don't think it's any secret that we have some zombie fans at our house.  Which make these cute zombie graves a super fun treat for Halloween!  They're really easy to put together and end up looking amazing!

This is what you'll need:

  • 1 pkg. Rice Krispy Treats (or you can make your own instead)
  • 1 can Vanilla Frosting
  • 1 pkg. Chocolate Graham Crackers
  • 2—Hershey’s Cookies N Crème Candy Bars
  • Wilton Candy Melts, Orange
  • Green Candy Shreds
  • Black Food Coloring
  • 1 pkg. Gummy Monsters

Color the frosting with a few drops of black food coloring so it is a dark gray color.  Crush the chocolate graham crackers (this is your dirt).

Spread the frosting on top of each of the Rice Krispie Treats.  Place a candy monster in it so that it looks like it's coming out of the ground.

Sprinkle the chocolate graham cracker "dirt" over the frosting.  Add some green candy shreds to look like grass.

Divide each candy bar into 3 sections. You can use an edible marker to write dates or funny names on the candy bar headstones.  You can even write the names of your party guests (or the kids' names in your child's class if you're doing a school party). Melt the orange chocolate melts per package directions and put a dot on the front bottom edge of each candy bar headstone. Press the candy against the end of the Rice Krispy Treat behind the monster and hold it a second while it hardens.

Everyone is going to love these fun zombie treats (at least they do here)!
